Welcome to our practice

Where biomimetic principles and cosmetic dentistry combine to create a level of care that's elevated above the rest.

We Are Different

Biomimetic Approach

Dr. Esther Yi is a highly advanced biomimetic dentist. Biomimetic dentistry leverages modern science-backed advancements in the field to focus on preserving the natural structure of the tooth and creating minimally invasive restorations that mimic nature's engineering principles. Unlike traditional approaches, biomimetic dentistry aims to avoid unnecessary removal of healthy tooth structure, promoting overall tooth health and longevity. Technology Driven

Using state-of-the-art equipment isn’t just for fun; it allows us to better care for our patients. Through advanced techniques, we can provide you with more efficient, comfortable, and accurate services. Our iTero scanner also allows us to take digital records of your teeth, eliminating the need for messy traditional impression materials. Learn more about technology in our office.

Advanced cosmetic solutions

Dr. Esther Yi is one of very few dentists in the country that specialize in treating gaps and black triangles. She uses specific techniques that oftentimes require no removal of tooth structure and allows her patients to walk out of the office with a newly rejuvenated smile in just one appointment. Learn more about ways you can renew your smile.

Elevated standard of care

You deserve the best and it's just that simple. We only use gold standard science-backed materials for the restorations in your mouth. We also work with certified dental labs that meet strict criteria and keep production of crowns and other dental products locally or within the USA.

MEET THE DOCTOR

Dr. Esther Yi

Although Dr. Yi was born in New York, she spent most of her life in Hawaii where she cultured her appreciation for hiking, nature, and the arts. She traded in those sunny skies and ocean breezes for Seattle’s moody vibes when she decided to attend the UW School of Dentistry. She has been living here ever since and has been loving it!

Dr. Yi teaches modern restorative techniques to dentists from all over the country. She specializes in black triangle/space closures, cosmetic smile rejuvenations, and biomimetic dentistry. Dentistry is a life-long passion project for Dr. Yi. She enjoys the challenge + innovation of science but also loves the artistry that comes with being able to create something with her own hands that help patients in need.

Dr. Yi values patient-centered care above everything else and believes a key part of this is maintaining an open dialogue with her patients. She believes in talking with her patients and working together to come up with a treatment plan that is tailored to every patient and their unique situation.

When she is not busy running after her Shiba Inu dog who loves to run away, you can find her at the pottery studio, working on photography/videography projects, or backpacking somewhere in the mountains.
