Meet Dr. Esther Yi
Dr. Yi grew up in Hawaii where she found her deep appreciation for nature, hiking, and photography. She traded in those sunny skies and ocean breezes for Seattle’s moody vibes when she decided to attend the UW School of Dentistry. Dr. Yi served as Vice President for her class, co-founded a non-profit organization, peer mentored underclassmen, attained multiple scholarships, and became the first doctor in her family upon graduation. Today, Dr. Yi teaches modern restorative techniques to dentists from all over the country. She specializes in black triangle/space closures, aesthetic smile rejuvenations, and biomimetic dentistry.
Dr. Yi values patient-centered care above everything else and believes a key part of this is maintaining an open dialogue with her patients. She believes in talking with her patients and working together to come up with a treatment plan that is tailored to every patient and their unique needs.
In her free time, she is busy trying to run after her Shiba Inu pup who loves to run away or is probably in the mountains somewhere backpacking. She is excited to join the team and serve the wonderful patients at Elevate Family Dentistry!

Stephanie
Stephanie started her dental career in 1995 as a sterilization technician and worked her way up to lead dental assistant, as well as treatment and financial coordinator. She has also worked as a dental consultant throughout Washington and Oregon. Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys watching her daughter play collegiate level fastpitch and cheering on her son’s baseball team. She has a rescue dog named Harley that she takes with her on hikes and walks. Stephanie is also an avid skier and gets up to the mountain as much as possible!
“I love dentistry, and helping patients get the care they want and need is so rewarding. I am truly honored to work alongside a remarkable and compassionate team that is committed to delivering quality care to every patient.”

Ken
Dental Hygienist
Ken
Ken has been working as a dental hygienist at Elevate Family Dentistry since 1996 and is a fan (patient) favorite! He has a degree in English from Western Washington University and studied Dental Hygiene at Shoreline Community College. Ken prides himself on his excellent clinical skills, his easy-going manner and strives to make your cleaning appointments comfortable and enjoyable. He is well-versed on the dental effects of systemic diseases, auto-immune disorders, sleep apnea, clenching and grinding, and dry mouth. Ken spends his free time writing songs on guitar, reading, hiking, and following the Seahawks, Sounders, and Mariners, although he is also—full disclosure—a lifelong Steelers fan.
“I treat all of our patients with compassion, respect, and a sense of humor. The best part of my job is getting to talk to people all day long!”
Candace
Dental Hygienist
Candace
Candace started her career in dentistry by helping her mom at the age of ten by filing charts and highlighting papers at her childhood dentist. At the age of 16, she would help in her moms office with sterilization and minor assisting during her summer breaks. Candace always knew she wanted to work in dentistry and went on to graduate with her Dental Hygiene degree from Shoreline Community College in 2013. She was born and raised in Washington and loves traveling, cooking, gardening, hiking and skiing with her husband Jeremy, daughter Eliana and dog Layla.
“I am so excited to be working alongside such a positive and fun team of professionals who all truly enjoy what we do each day!”
